Description: Pacific Sky™ Lomandra is a dense ground hugging Lomandra confertifolia making it excellent in mass plantings. It has beautiful blue arching foliage and produces perfumed yellow flowers throughout the warmer months of the year. It is an excellent choice for difficult dry spots under trees.
Size: 50-75cm H x 60-90cm W (can reach up to 1.2m wide at maturity).
Planting Density: 2-5 plants per m², 1-2 plants per linear metre.
Uses: Border edging, mass planting, accent planting near rockeries, difficult dry spots under trees.
Position: Handles full sun to moderately heavy shade. Suited to a wide variety of soils, sand to heavy clay. Tolerates drought and frost. Avoid wet feet.
Care: Water as required for 8-13 weeks until established. Plant in a well mulched garden (chunky mulch is recommended). Ensure crown or base of plant is not below soil or mulch level. If required use slow release fertiliser in spring. if needed cut back to 15cm above ground every 3-5 years.
Where it works: NSW, VIC, SA & WA (Not recommended for Northern NSW and QLD, further testing required).
